Juventus fire Chelsea and Arsenal clear £78m transfer message as agent's meeting revealed

Juventus have no plans to sell Kenan Yildiz amid reported transfer interest from Arsenaland Chelsea.

Yildiz, has made an impressive start to the 2025/26 season after starring at the Club World Cup. Indeed, the Turkey international has scored twice and provided four assists in eight appearances across all competitions.

The 20-year-old signed for Juventus after leaving Bayern Munich in 2022 and he has since established himself as one of the most sought-after young players on the planet. With 18 goals and 15 assists in 92 appearances for Juve, it's hard to look against Yildiz right now, with the forward already earning 23 caps for his national team.

Arsenal and Chelsea have been credited with an interest in Yildiz, with super agent Jorge Mendes recently meeting with his family to discuss his future. There has been talk that a bid between £69million and £78m could arrive for the German-born talent, with Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain among the others keen on signing him.

However, La Gazzetta dello Sport have reported that Juventus chief Damien Comolli has not plans to let Premier League clubs pry Yildiz away. They want to keep hold of the player, who has four years left on his contract.

Juve strengthened their front line with Jonathan David and Lois Openda coming through the doors in the summer, but Comolli is very much looking at keep hold of their other top talents including Yildiz.

TBR Football added that Juve are working on rewarding Yildiz with a new contract and the hope is that he commits his future and then that shows he is not on the market anytime soon.

Yildiz is versatile across the forward line but has mainly operated as a No.10 this season. However, he was shifted out to the left-hand side for Juventus' 0-0 draw against AC Milan on Sunday.

Speaking on Yildiz last month, Juve head coach Igor Tudor said: "I was talking to them the other day and I noticed that I never say anything to Yildiz in front of others, because he always does what he's supposed to do.

"We rarely say anything to him, whether it's about his playing style or his behaviour. The difference is that inner motivation you have to get there and do what you do, which has to be there every day. Yildiz is proving he does that, and I hope he continues every day. He has all the attributes to become a truly top player."

Yildiz is next in action when Turkey face Bulgaria in a World Cup qualifier on Saturday. They then host Georgia in another crucial affair three days later.
