Ange Postecoglou had made a total of eight changes to his Tottenham team for Sunday's Premier League encounter against Liverpool. All eyes will be on the match at Anfield as Arne Slot's side have the opportunity to wrap up the Premier League title.
, on the other hand, will be attempting to move up from their lowly position of 16th in the standings after 33 games. The Lilywhites will also have one eye on next Thursday's Europa League semi-final first leg encounter against Bodo/Glimt.
, Postecoglou has switched things about for the game on Merseyside. Kevin Danso and Ben Davies are preferred at centre-back over Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven, with Djed Spence and Destiny Udogie the two full-backs and Guglielmo Vicario carrying on in goal.

Archie Gray then gets a start in midfield alongside Lucas Bergvall and James Maddison. In attack, Brennan Johnson and Dominic Solanke come in to join Mathys Tel in the front three.
Sunday's meeting at Anfield is the fourth time the sides have gone head-to-head during the 2024/25 campaign. , Postecoglou reflected on the previous games and admitted that this weekend's fixture will be "a great challenge" for his team.
"Yeah, and they've been very settled, so like you said that's the story of our season and you know we've fluctuated between being really good at times with other times not so good," he explained. "I mean they're the only team that's really beaten us comprehensively. I'm not really sure what the figures are, but out of the 18 games or whatever we've lost in the league, I think 15 of them have probably been by a goal, so it's not like.... but Liverpool for sure, they have beat us up a couple of times.
"Like you said in the cup game first leg, I thought we were really good, we took the game to them even though again we had quite a few absences and. worked really hard to get a win in that game, so we know it's going to be tough at the weekend, but at the same time I think it's a great challenge for us."
