As another important step towards strengthening the mission employment of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, special preparations have been made to make the written examination for the post of Assistant Acharya fair and free from cheating. The examination will be held on 16 and 17 April in two shifts at 52 examination centers in 6 districts (Agra, Meerut, Prayagraj, Lucknow, Gorakhpur, and Varanasi). CM Yogi has given clear instructions that no recruitment examination in the state should be affected by cheating or improper manner.
Keeping this in mind, sector magistrates and static magistrates are being deployed at every center. Along with this, tight security arrangements have also been made. CM Yogi has ordered the District Magistrates to deploy a fully armed police force at the examination centers. Along with this, the District Magistrate has also been given the right to impose prohibitory orders as per the need. Special security arrangements have been made to bring and take the confidential material from the treasury to the commission office.
A maximum number of candidates will appear for the examination in Prayagraj.
A total of 82,876 candidates will appear in the examination. Maximum of 18,240 candidates will appear in the exam in Prayagraj, 16,010 in Meerut, 15,602 in Gorakhpur, 13,528 in Lucknow, 10,958 in Varanasi, and 8,538 in Agra. The exam will be conducted at a maximum of 10 centers each in Meerut, Prayagraj, and Gorakhpur, while 9 exam centers have been set up in Lucknow, 7 in Varanasi, and 6 in Agra.
Special emphasis on transparency and purity
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath intends to restore the confidence of the youth through the recruitment process. Given this, the exam is being conducted under the joint supervision of the commission and the administration. The chairman of the commission, nominated member, district supervisor, and center supervisor will keep an eye on the entire examination, so that the exam can be conducted with complete transparency and honesty and eligible candidates can get proper opportunities.
How many posts are to be recruited?
Through this exam, recruitments are to be done on 1017 posts of Assistant Principal of 33 different subjects. Candidates successful in the exam will be included in the further selection process. The application process for this recruitment started from 9 July 2022 and lasted till 29 August 2022.
