TVS Motor Company has announced the 2025 season of the PETRONAS TVS India One Make Championship. The selection trials are set to take place from May 9 to May 11 at the Madras International Circuit (MIC) in Chennai, inviting talent across four distinct categories: TVS Young Media Racer Program (YMRP), TVS Women’s OMC , TVS Rookie OMC , and TVS RR310 OMC .
What is PETRONAS TVS India One Make Championship?
This championship serves as a gateway for aspiring racers from all walks of life. It offers coaching, track-ready machines, and national-level exposure and since its inception in 1994, over 3,000 riders have taken part in the One Make Championship.
This year’s selection process brings opportunities for a wide range of participants. The Young Media Racer Program, scheduled for May 9, is exclusively by invitation and aims to provide motorsport journalists and content creators with first-hand racing experience. The TVS Women’s OMC, taking place on May 10, is open to riders under 40 with Level 1 certification from an FMSCI Training School .
On May 11, the track will see aspiring racers aged 15 to 21 compete for a spot in the Rookie OMC, while more experienced riders below 30 years of age will be vying for the RR310 OMC, provided they’ve had at least one podium finish in a National or One Make Championship.
Participants this season will be equipped with top-notch safety gear, including Alpinestar airbag jackets, FIM-certified helmets, and racing suits.
