US President Donald Trump’s tariffs on imports is unlikely to have any impact on sale and expansion of Trump Towers, the Trump Organization's luxury real estate brand operating in India.
North India’s Smartworld Developers and Tribeca Developers, India's official licensor of Trump-branded projects will develop NCR’s second Trump Tower in Gurgaon, making it the only city after New York to have two residential Trump Towers.
With an investment of Rs 1,200 crore, the project will be completed in 5 years and is expected to generate Rs 3,500 crore revenue.

Prices of first Trump Tower in Gurgaon has already doubled since launch and the latest project which is being launched at Rs 27,000 per sq ft, is expected to give similar price appreciation.
“We have kept the pricing to ensure that it is not overpriced or underpriced. Gurgaon market has seen a lot of interest from investors and this is the kind of project, which will give price appreciation to the buyer,” said Pankaj Bansal, Co-Founder of Smartworld Developers.
A member of Trump family is likely to travel to India in couple of months to announce more Trump Towers in North and South India.
“Trump returns to Gurgaon with our second project, making it the first city outside New York to have two Trump Residences. We are getting a lot of interest from NRIs as well and this project will be a successful one,” said Kalpesh Mehta, Founder of Tribeca Developers.
Trump Residences Gurgaon will include two 51-story towers with 298 residences.
Tribeca had earlier indicated that it has already finalized six new projects across India, totalling 8 million sq ft with a revenue potential of over Rs 15,000 crore.
India already has the highest number of Trump branded projects in the world, after the US, with four such projects totalling over 3 million sq ft in the property markets of Mumbai, Pune, Gurgaon, and Kolkata. Of these, projects in Mumbai and Pune have already been delivered, while one each in Gurgaon and Kolkata are expected to be delivered in the next few months.
Tribeca is the largest developer of Trump branded properties in the world, second only to The Trump Organization.
