The Mother Goddess appears completely white and is equipped with various weapons.

Those who hoist a flag at the Mother Goddess's court on this day are blessed with success and victory in every field. Performing rituals at the Mother Goddess's shrine on this day brings the full benefits of the yagna. Devotees should also recite other special recitations, including the Satchandi. According to the Devi Bhagavat, Kanya Pujan (worship of girls) should be performed on this day, and the offerings should be given to the girl child.
