Take a bath in the morning on the last Monday of Sawan.

Wear clean clothes.

Now collect all the items for worship.

After this, anoint Shivling with Ganga water, milk, ghee, curd, honey, and sugar.
Then offer Bilvapatra to Mahadev.
Now, while chanting Om Namah Shivay, offer Dhatura, Bhasma, and Shami flowers on Shivalinga.
After this, offer some seasonal fruits.
