Mark Shankar, youngest son of Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, was injured in a fire accident at his school in Singapore. The incident caused burns to Pawan's 8-year-old son hands and legs, while smoke inhalation also affected his lungs. He is currently receiving treatment at a local hospital in Singapore.

At the time of the incident, Pawan was on a tour in the Alluri Sitarama Raju district. Before heading to Singapore, he plans to complete his scheduled visit, including a stop at the temple in Kuridi, Dumbriguda mandal, and interactions with locals.

The officials and leaders suggested that he should stop the tour and go to Singapore. He said, "I promised the villagers in Kuridi near Araku Valley that I would visit them as per the schedule, and I am committed to completing the tour."

The Jana Sena Party announced on X that Hari Hara Veera Mallu actor will travel from Visakhapatnam to Singapore in the afternoon. His planned visit to the zoo park and scheduled review meetings in Vizag city have been cancelled following his Mark's accident.

However, the party has not yet shared further details regarding the nature of the incident.

Mark was born October 10, 2017, to Pawan and his wife Anna Lezhneva.

He met his third wife, Anna Lezhneva, a former Russian model, during the shoot of Teen Maar (2011). Their relationship blossomed, leading to their marriage on September 30, 2013 under the Special Marriage Act at a sub-registrar office in Hyderabad.

Kalyan married Nandini, his first wife, in 1997, one year after his film debut. The duo got divorced in 2008. Later, he entered wedlock in 2009 with Renu Desai, and the couple parted ways in 2012. They have two kids: son Akira Nandan and daughter Aadya.
