Viral Video: The land dispute took a violent turn on Sunday in Shahpur village of Jahanaganj police station area of Azamgarh district of Uttar Pradesh. According to the information, after an altercation between the two parties, a fight started, which later turned into firing. In the incident, two people have been injured by bullets, who have been admitted to the district hospital.
Land dispute case (Azamgarh Land Dispute)
At the time of the incident, a person named Guddu Singh was getting the construction work of a safety tank done at his house. As soon as the laborers reached the work, Abhishek Singh and Brijmohan Singh, who live in the neighborhood, stopped the construction work, calling that land disputed. A dispute started between the two parties over this matter, which soon turned into a fight.
Seeing Guddu Singh's family being beaten during the fight, his 22-year-old son Anand Singh got angry and reached the spot with his licensed pistol from home. It is alleged that as soon as Anand brought the pistol, he opened fire on Abhishek Singh (24) and Brijmohan Singh (43). Both of them fell on the ground as soon as they were shot. Abhishek was shot in the stomach and Brijmohan in the waist. There was chaos in the village after the incident.
On the information of the local people, the police immediately reached the spot and took both the injured to the district hospital, where they are undergoing treatment. Anand Singh, who fired, has fled from the spot. The police have registered a case against Anand Singh, Ranvijay Singh and Nanhe on the complaint given by the injured party.
Superintendent of Police (City) Shailendra Lal reached the hospital and enquired about the condition of the injured and took information about the case. The police has formed four teams to arrest the accused and raids are being conducted continuously in the village. At present, the situation is said to be tense but under control. Police say that the accused will be arrested soon.
