Jon Kay and Sarah Campbell offered their well-wishes to Dolly Parton on Wednesday's BBC Breakfast after the country legend withdrew from her recent appearance due to illness.
Dolly's sister, Freida, urged supporters to "send their prayers" in a touching Facebook post.
"Last night, I was up all night praying for my sister, Dolly," Freida penned. "I truly believe in the power of prayer, and I have been led to ask all of the world that loves her to be prayer warriors and pray with me.

"She's strong, she's loved, and with all the prayers being lifted for her, I know in my heart she's going to be just fine. Godspeed, my sissy Dolly. We all love you!"
Dolly has been inundated with messages of support from admirers following the news, with presenters Jon and Sarah also pausing to share their well-wishes for the star, reports the Express.

Jon revealed, "11 minutes past seven and Dolly Parton's sister has asked fans to pray for the singer after she postponed a forthcoming Las Vegas residency due to what are being called unspecified health issues."
Sarah added, "Posting on Facebook, Freida Parton said that she truly believes in the power of prayer, adding that she knows Dolly will be just fine.
"The 79-year-old recently delayed her December concerts until next September, telling fans that she needs a few procedures to deal with ongoing health challenges.
"Hopefully everything will be all right," Jon continued as Sarah remarked, "Sending our best, yeah, definitely."
Last month, Dolly revealed that she would be delaying her Las Vegas residency, initially set from 4 to 13 December at the Colosseum Theater at Caesars Palace, until September 2026 due to "health challenges".
She posted on Instagram, "I want the fans and public to hear directly from me that, unfortunately, I will need to postpone my upcoming Las Vegas concerts.
"As many of you know, I have been dealing with some health challenges, and my doctors tell me that I must have a few procedures."
BBC Breakfast is broadcast daily at 6am on BBC One.
