The fallout from EastEnders' epic week of Zoe Slater and Max Branning's return continues next week. Zoe's back home with the Slaters after fighting for her life in hospitalafter the shock shooting, but how long for?
It looks like the Slaters are set to take front and centre again next week, although on the other side of the Square, there's fears for George Knight. As he becomes even more suspicious of Okie, Harry and Ravi's dodgy dealings, Ravi seems to have some sort of plan...
We start off the week with the Slaters, and understandably, Zoe is still shaken by the shooting. However, the police insist it wasn’t a targeted attack. She feels overwhelmed as the Slaters welcome her home, and attempts to rush out and leave once again.

More tension awaits, as Vicki wastes no time in confronting Zoe about Den, forcing Kathy and Anthony to step in. Still fuming, Vicki follows her to The Albert where the argument continues.
Zoe later joins the Slaters at The Vic but chaos ensues when she learns Freddie and Mo shared details of her ordeal online. A local paper picks up and has written an article about the shooting, which she fears will potentially put her at risk.
It doesn't stop there however, as she later leaves a message with a face from her past, but who could it be? Is it Max or someone new altogether? We learnt a lot about Zoe's life last week, but it can be assumed there's still a lot more to discover in her 20 years away...
It all gets too much for Zoe who attempts to leave, fearing she's putting everyone in danger, but but Stacey begs her not to. Confiding in her Zoe reveals she thinks she may have killed Greg.
Greg is who we saw in the flashback last week. He's seemingly the former neighbour of Zoe's adopted son's parents. He promised to give information for £5k, but later refused and tried to inappropriately touch Zoe.
She then hit him on the head in self defence, and feared she had left him for dead. She then told Stacey this information, and the two go to stake out his house to find out more. But what will they find?
Elsewhere, George remains suspicious of Okie and Harry, especially when he sees Okie entering Kojo's flat, and realises the locks have been changed. Later, George finds a set of keys and storms into the flat to see what's going on, but Okie is one step ahead of him, as he had already cleaned the flat.
Okie and Harry warn Ravi he may have a problem, and he reveals he'll handle George by himself. Harry's left horrified but what is Ravi capable of doing to George?
Elsewhere, Zack Hudson lands a new job at the Vic - with Alfie Moon offering him the role of chef. It comes after actor James Farrar teased he would be "in" with the Slaters
"It's nice to be in the middle of the drama with the Slaters obviously Zoe Slater doesn't get on with my family too well, but it's nice," he said in an interview with Inside Soap Magazine.
Fans have been left "worrying" that this means a romance between Zack and Zoe is on the cards, but are things set to turn romantic between them? In between her shooting and relationship with Max, it seems like the character has a lot on her plate at the moment, but will something happen in the future?
