GK Barry's girlfriend Ella Rutherford says 'life has changed' in rare romance admission

girlfriend has issued a rare insight into their romance as she admitted her "life has changed for the better". 24, confirmed her romance with the TV star, 25, in August last year after months of rumours.

The Ipswich Town footballer supported GK - real name Grace Keeling - during her time in ...Get Me Out of Here! last year GK had candid chats in the jungle about her sexuality, which saw her receive praise from fans.

GK headed to the BRIT Awards wearing a plunging black gown with sequinned and feather detailing along with two bangles. One bangle was engraved with ER, for Ella's initials.

Following the public display of affection, Ella has made sure to gush about GK in the limelight too. In a rare update, she shared: "She [GK Barry] really just became, straight away, as soon as I met her, that rock - that I obviously had with family and stuff but I think it’s different when you’ve got a partner and you’re going home to them every night.

"She’s been a massive part of why I’m so happy on the outside if people do see that. Since I met her, she’s changed my life for the better."

Ella added on talkSPORT's The Kickback: "She’s flourished into her wag era. She’s cooking dinners and enjoying just coming to the game with her prosecco. She hasn't got a clue what’s going on.

"I asked 'babe what do you do when I’m playing?' and she’s just like 'I just watch you'. Sometimes she’ll say like 'that was a free kick' and she’ll know a corner but I do need to sit her down. At the start I was banging my head because she didn’t know what goal we were scoring in or what team we were.

"But she’s come on, bless her. That’s nice for me as well because she really does try to understand it as well as me understanding what she does and supporting her. She’s been a massive support for me this year so that’s been nice."

The couple, who have been "inseparable" since they started dating, are even discussing getting married and having children together. They first made contact when GK followed the footballer on social media, while Ella recovered from knee surgery.

GK and Ella went on to share a holiday together and met each other's families. The star even confirmed - but only when they have spent time building their careers.

GK told she and and have children one day: "One day, it’s going to happen. Not yet. We’re both set on doing well in our careers. Then she’ll get down on one knee!"

The social media sensation proudly talked about her relationship while in the jungle and being bi-sexual. She said: “It was by accident I found Ella, through a mutual friend and then I really liked her the first day I met her but I’d never told my parents.

"I’d mentioned, ‘Oh I’m just going to see my friend Ella’ or ‘I’m staying round Ella’s’ so they’d heard her name.” GK recalled a situation when her parents came to visit while Ella was also there, and they asked who she was.

GK simply told her family: "I told them 'Oh. she’s my girlfriend'. They just love her, they never had an issue with it. To be fair I feel like the closet may have been glass!”
