Hit-and-run driver mows down football fans at Espanyol vs Barcelona as game stopped

A car has reportedly run over multiple outside the stadium of Espanyol during their fixture with , which took place on Thursday night. A clip of the harrowing incident was shared on social media during the game.

People outside the stadium were seen running away as police ran towards the vehicle. Marca claim that the incident led to the game being paused briefly, though it is speculated play quickly resumed as nobody was seriously hurt.

commentator Sam Matterface reportedly explained that there were no serious injuries to any spectators as a result of the incident.
