The football rivalry between Ryan Reynolds and Snoop Dogg looks set to heat up as the rapper is expected to watch his team Swansea take on Wrexham.
Reynolds bought the Red Dragons alongside fellow actor Rob Mac in February 2021, with the two actors helping them achieve three consecutive promotions. Meanwhile, Snoop Dogg's investment in the Swans was announced in July.
The two clubs haven't played each other in a league match in more than 22 years, but are finally set to face off in a Championship clash at Swansea.com Stadium on December 19. Swansea striker Liam Cullen has now disclosed that Snoop Dogg is expected to be present for the fixture.
The globally renowned rapper played a key role in launching the club's kit for the current season and teased a rivalry with Reynolds and Mac in a video released before the start of the campaign. Swansea chief executive Tom Gorringe has previously highlighted the potential commercial advantages the 53-year-old's involvement could deliver to the club, who also count AC Milan midfielder Luka Modric amongst their high-profile backers.
The possibility of Snoop Dogg attending a match has been the subject of mounting speculation in recent weeks, and Swans player Cullen said the encounter with Wrexham has been identified as a likely date.

"I've not seen him yet," Cullen revealed on the BBC's Feast of Football podcast when questioned about the star's involvement with the club. "I think he's actually coming over for the Wrexham game. That's what I've heard. So I'm looking forward to see him."
"With the new investors in Snoop Dogg and Luka Modric, it adds a few more eyes on the club, and with the investment there's a higher expectation now, which is good for us. It's a good thing to have the expectation of going and needing to well."
Snoop's son, Cordell C Broadus, has already visited the club, attending the 1-1 draw with Watford earlier this season. He even popped into the Swans dressing room to meet the players - and give his father the chance to send a message to the dressing room.

"I can't wait to get out there and give 'em some of my pep talk," he said. "My room gonna be a little cloudy, but the vision going to be clear." It appears that pep talk may now come within a couple of months.
Wrexham are currently 18th in the table in the second tier after picking up ten points from their opening nine matches. Meanwhile, Swansea are 12th after registering two points more than their North Wales rivals.
Speaking when it was announced that he'd become a co-owner of the Swans, Snoop Dogg said: "My love of football is well known, but it feels special to me that I make my move into club ownership with Swansea City.
"The story of the club and the area really struck a chord with me. This is a proud, working-class city and club. An underdog that bites back, just like me. I'm proud to be part of Swansea City. I am going to do all I can to help the club, and I look forward to getting to know all my YJBS."
