Rain To Lash Bhubaneswar, Cuttack & 10 Odisha Dists In 3 Hours

Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a nowcast warning for 10 districts of Odisha, including twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, till 1.30 pm on Sunday.

Light to moderate rain/thundershower along with lightning and wind speed reaching 40 kmph may occur at a few places in Bhadrak, Balasore, Ganjam, Jajpur, Cuttack (including Cuttack city), Kalahandi, Khurda (including Bhubaneswar), Puri, Gajapati and Nayagarh in three hours.

People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
