Viewers who tuned into the latest instalment of Good Morning Britain were left unimpressed as they slammed a particular segment.

Presenters Ed Balls and Susanna Reid were back at the helm on Thursday (May 1), delivering the latest news headlines across the UK.

During the show, Celebrity Big Brother stars Chesney Hawkes and Donna Preston came on to discuss their blossoming friendship as well as their time in the infamous Big Brother house.

The CBB finalists were full of beans as Donna also serenaded the ITV studio with a song she created while in the house.

Discussing their bond, Chesney also told the presenters, "The experience accelerates your bonding, doesn't it because you have nothing else to do."

"You've got no phone, no TV, no nothing. So all you got to do is get to know each other."

But despite the joyful portrayal from the pair, some viewers were rather put off. Heading over to X, one fan said: "Welcome to children's hour."

Another cheekily fumed: "Does anyone really care about Big Brother? Mediocre celebrities who no one knows."

A third penned: "Celebrity I got paid to go on a TV show and I made friends for life segment."

While another viewer took aim at Donna's musical rendition and said: "OH THAT F***n' SONG!"

The news of Donna and Chesney's appearance on GMB comes after Coronation Street star Jack P. Shephard was crowned as the winner of the 2025 series.

The star who is best know for playing the role of David Platt on the ITV soap has since revealed that he won't be inviting any of his CBB co-stars to his upcoming wedding.

Appearing on GMB earlier in the week, Jack said: "No, I don't think so. Come on. I've only known them three weeks.

"Got guest list (a) mile long. He (Chris Hughes) keeps asking for an invite. Keeps on going, 'I'll see you at that wedding', I'm like 'I don't think you will pal', haven't even told him (the) date."

Good Morning Britain airs Mondays-Fridays at 6am on ITV1.
