
Almost 50 people have been left injured after at their title parade on Monday evening. Merseyside Police have arrested a 53-year-old white British man who is believed to have been the driver of the vehicle. The force have said the incident is not being treated as terror-related.
It took place on Water Street shortly after the conclusion of Liverpool's title celebrations in the city centre. . Two suffered serious injuries, including one child. A large police presence remains at the site of the incident with a clean-up operation yet to begin.
