Reuben Owen: Life in the Dales graced television sets once again on Tuesday (27 May) with fresh insights into the young entrepreneur's journey.
At 21, Reuben hit the spotlight on Our Yorkshire Farm alongside his parents, Amanda and Clive Owen, and now helms a burgeoning machinery venture specialising in groundworks and plant hire.
The recent instalment of his Channel 5 docu-series saw him joined by teenage brother Miles, keen to collaborate more with Reuben as he carves his own professional path.
With their father aging, Miles has started shouldering more responsibilities on the family farm while exploring work opportunities with Reuben's enterprise.
In a poignant moment, Miles disclosed how his dad is "slowing down" and thus openly addressed his commitment to support both family business and brotherly ambition, reports .
Miles fondly recalled his childhood on the farm, saying: "I really enjoyed growing up on the farm. One of my jobs was doing the chickens, collecting the eggs, looking after them, feeding them. I'm doing more work with the cows and the sheep at the moment."
He added: "I've talked to Reuben about the digging side and me helping more, getting more involved with his company, which I wouldn't mind at all."
Despite this, Miles must juggle his burgeoning roles carefully: "But, I've got to balance it, because dad's getting on and he's slowing down a bit. So, I've got to help dad when it's needed and I can't leave him to manage. Then, when Reuben needs it and he gets stuck, I need to go and help him."
Miles' insights follow Clive's open-hearted musings on his age and intent to "pass on the baton" to the younger generation during a compelling segment of Channel 4's Our Farm Next Door.

The acclaimed Channel 4 series, which premiered last year, follows the Owen family through trials and triumphs as they work to revitalise Anty John's farmstead despite numerous setbacks.
Watching Miles take the reins of lawn maintenance for the first time, Clive mused about his offspring stepping up to their responsibilities.
With nine children to consider, the patriarch observed: "They're grown-up these lads, and it's good for them to take over these jobs. Miles is a young man now so the mowing is for him."
Looking to the future, he reflected: "It's time to pass on the baton and let them do more and more, and that is how it is. I am here to watch over them and annoy them, and we will get there in the end."
Reuben Owen: Life in the Dales airs on Tuesdays on Channel 5 at 8pm. All episodes can be streamed on My5.
