Ranchi/ Jamshedpur: Students from the state, including Ranchi, Jamshedpur, and Bokaro have shown remarkable achievements in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 Session 2 results, which were announced on Saturday.
Jamshedpur lad Aryan Mishra emerged the state topper with 99.99 percentile and All India Rank (AIR) 40. The DAV Public School Bistupur student and son of Tata Steel employee Akhilesh Mishra scored 96 in mathematics and 95 each in physics and chemistry. His aggregate scores were 275 in Paper 1 and 286 in Paper 2.
Aryan, who aspires to join IIT Bombay, attributed his success to dedicating 10 hours daily to studies while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. "I never let the pressure of studies get to me. I ensure eight hours of sleep and watch comedy shows to relax," shared Aryan, who wants to become a mathematics researcher.
In Ranchi, Sahil Akash of LA Garden School secured the top position in the district with 99.98 percentile and AIR 382. His preparation spanning three years, including a drop year, and support from mother Deepa Sinha, a home tutor, and father Santosh Kumar, a govt employee.
Oxford Public School saw 87 students cracking the test with Piyush Kumar leading at 99.37 percentile.
Sarala Birla Public School had 11 students scoring above 90 percentile with Saksham Goyal emerging as the school's topper with 99.87 percentile. Over 200 students of Delhi Public School qualifed for JEE Advanced and scored above 99 percentile. Dript Divyansh Pandey led with a 99.9052 percentile.
Jawahar Vidya Mandir, Shyamali, reported 16 students scoring above 99 percentile with Arnav Pandey (99.94) securing the top position, while DAV Public School's top performers included Ankit Kumar who scored 99.109 percentile.
Brothers Academy, where district topper Sahil Akash of LA Garden School underwent coaching, saw 400 students qualifying, with several achieving above the 99 percentile, including Shourya (99.91), Anand (99.87), and Abhigya (99.81).
Eight students of Narbheram Hansraj English School, Jamshedpur, obtained 90 percentile and above. While Vedant Saraswat scored 99.83 percentile, Bartika Kumar scored 99.38 and Anubhab Sen scored 99.05.
DPS Bokaro students also continued their success streak with 55 of them cracking the test. Aarush Banerjee scored 99.76 percentile, Prince Kumar Pandey scored 99.65, and Abhay Shankar Singh secured 99.35. Sayed Ashadullah and Ujjwal Singh scored 99.33 and 99.20 percentile, respectively.
