NEW DELHI: Rahul Tripathi made his 100th Indian Premier League (IPL) appearance one to remember with a sensational catch to dismiss Aiden Markram in the opening over of the match between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at the Ekana Stadium on Monday.
The moment came off the final ball of the first over, bowled by Khaleel Ahmed . Markram, expecting an inswinger, misread the delivery which angled away on a hard length. The extra bounce caught him off guard, and the ball took the leading edge of his bat, looping into the air behind mid-off.
