Apex Legends Season 25 is only a few hours away from launch, and with the official patch notes already released, a clearer picture of what the new season will entail has emerged. Several gameplay videos from Season 25 have surfaced from content creators who got exclusive early access through the EA Creators Network. Every source points towards a promising season, with many speculating that the Apex Legends player count could finally rise back up again.

Apex Legends has, in recent times, seen a massive dip in player count owing to growing community frustration over the slow pace of changes rolled out by Respawn Entertainment . Furthermore, severe issues with the game being full of hackers and the ranking system have plagued the community for a long time. Apex Legends Season 25 has addressed all these issues, at least on paper, leading to a highly anticipated new Season launch.

1. New Legend Sparrow

Apex Legends Season 25 will feature a brand new Recon Legend called Sparrow. He has a unique set of abilities that make him both fun to play as a solo que-er, while also providing great value in any team composition.

2. LTM: Arenas

Arenas game mode is coming back, but with major modifications in Apex Legends Season 25. There will be three versions of this game mode that will be featured at different times throughout the season. They are as follows:

  • Original Arenas (May 6 – May 19)
  • Arenas Modified (May 20 – June 23)
  • Arenas: Duels (Mid-season)

    3. Pathfinder Rework Overview

    Pathfinder is receiving significant buffs, which will make him viable in the Apex Legends Season 25 meta. Furthermore, a new recolor of Pathfinder is expected to be coming in Apex Legends Season 25. Here are the changes to Pathfinder’s ability kit:

    4. Care package rotation in Apex Legends Season 25

    Triple Take is going into the care package in Apex Legends Season 25, along with the Gun Shield Hop-up. Bocek Compoun Bow and Havoc return to the floor.

    5. New attachment: Golden Sniper Stock

    A new stock tier is added for Marksman weapons in Apex Legends Season 25. The Golden Sniper Stock will give faster handling and reload time. Aim drift will be reduced. But most significantly, no movement penalty will be incurred when the weapon is drawn.

    6. Anti-Cheat

    Respawn Entertainment is making a strong effort against cheaters and hackers in Apex Legends Season 25. They have implemented several fixes and continue to address issues to create a fair gaming environment in Apex Legends.

    7. Audio

    The developers have finally listened to the community and have implemented an audio issue detection system in Apex Legends Season 25. This system will now analyze any audio issues or dropouts during a live match. At the end of the match, players will be shown an option to send a detailed report to Respawn. They will then analyze the data and find possible fixes. While it's not a solution as of yet, it's good to see them at least make an effort towards it.
