Acer is all set to launch its smartphones in India. Acer has partnered with Indkal Technologies for the launch of its smartphones in the country. Indkal has the trademark licensing agreement with Acer Incorporated. Indkal will design, manufacture and distribute smartphones under the Acer brand in India.
The company has not yet revealed the launch date of the smartphones, but has confirmed that they will be available online on Amazon.in.
Acer to launch smartphones in India: Likely featuresAs per sources, the upcoming Acer smartphone will be powered by octa-core MediaTekDimensity 7400 5G chipset. The Acer smartphone is said to the first in the price segment to be powered by this MediaTek Dimensity chipset.
Along with this, the sources also revealed that the upcoming Acer smartphone will be backed by a 5000 mAh battery.It is also revealed that the smartphone is designed to deliver 24 hours of battery backup on a single charge.
Last month, earlier this January, the Acerone Liquid S162E4 and Acerone Liquid S272E4 smartphones appeared on the official Acer India website under the Acerpure branding. These devices were listed as budget-friendly 4G phones featuring a MediaTek Helio P35 SoC, HD+ display, and a 5000mAh battery. However, it remains uncertain whether the company plans to officially launch these models.
